Domenica 17 maggio, la Cantina di Casorzo farà da teatro a un importante evento di promozione e valorizzazione del territorio. Dal mattino, infatti, è in programma uno speciale “Wine Trekking”, lungo il pittoresco sentiero del Malvasia.

Tra dolci colline e panorami mozzafiato, il sentiero condurrà fino al caratteristico “Bialbero” di Casorzo. Si tratta di un ciliegio che cresce all’interno di un robusto gelso: una meraviglia della natura, unica e rara. Il trekking proseguirà attraverso vigneti e sentieri, da cui si potrà godere di viste iconiche e suggestive.

L’appuntamento è fissato alle 9.30 presso la Cantina di Casorzo di via San Lodovico 1. La camminata durerà circa quattro ore ed è adatta a tutti. Si consigliano scarpe e abbigliamento comodi e di portare con sé una borraccia. Il trekking è aperto anche agli amici a quattro zampe, purché al guinzaglio.

“La passeggiata sarà guidata da un accompagnatore naturalistico accreditato dalla Regione Piemonte – spiegano dalla Cantina di Casorzo – e, a conclusione della mattinata, è in programma una degustazione dei nostri vini, in particolare Barbera d’Asti, Ruché e Malvasia, a scelta per ogni partecipante”.

Ogni partecipante avrà anche a disposizione un lunch box, che custodirà le prelibatezze del territorio: focaccia e salumi monferrini DOC, formaggi e cugnà di accompagnamento, insalata di pollo artigianale e dolci della tradizione.

Il costo è di 30 euro a persona, comprensivo di guida, assicurazione e lunch box con vini inclusi.

Sunday, May 17, the Cantina di Casorzo will host an important event dedicated to promoting and enhancing the local area. Starting in the morning, a special “Wine Trekking” experience is scheduled along the picturesque Malvasia trail.

Amid gentle hills and breathtaking views, the trail will lead to the distinctive “Bialbero” of Casorzo. This is a cherry tree growing inside a sturdy mulberry tree, a unique and rare natural wonder. The trek will continue through vineyards and paths offering iconic and evocative scenery.

The meeting point is set for 9:30 a.m. at the Cantina di Casorzo, Via San Lodovico 1. The walk will last about four hours and is suitable for everyone. Comfortable clothing and footwear are recommended, as well as bringing a water bottle. The trek is also open to four-legged friends, provided they are on a leash.

“The walk will be led by a certified nature guide accredited by the Piedmont Region,” explain representatives of the Cantina di Casorzo, “and at the end of the morning, a tasting of our wines is planned, in particular Barbera d’Asti, Ruché, and Malvasia, with one choice per participant.”

Each participant will also receive a lunch box featuring local specialties: focaccia and Monferrato cured meats (DOC), cheeses with cugnà (a traditional fruit preserve), homemade chicken salad, and traditional desserts.

The cost is €30 per person, including the guide, insurance, and lunch box with wines included.
